Requirements to obtain and maintain a dog walker and pet sitter position:

Must have or do:

  • Reliable vehicle
  • Reliable cell phone
  • Email and Daily Internet Access
  • A commitment of a minimum of 6 months to Pawtastic Pet Sitting and Dog Walking
  • Undergo a background check(cost is $35 and can be paid in 2 payments)
  • Carry liability insurance after you make $600 (cost is $180/year, can be paid in monthly payments)

Be available for:

  • morning walks (6a.m.-10a.m.)
  • midday walks (11a.m.-2p.m.)
  • evening walks (3p.m.-8p.m.)
  • Dog and cat drop in visits (6a.m.-10p.m.)
  • Overnight stayovers (in their home)
  • Be willing to travel up to 25 miles for each pet sit
  • Be willing to travel up to 15 miles for each dog walk
  • Be available for short notice dog walks and pet sits
